Simple and efficient typing tutor, integr ated with a lesson plan focused on difficulty levels

To help you get started, aTypeTrainer4Mac comes with a course set designed to help you familiarize yourself with the location of each key on the keyboard. You first practice only 2 keys, and then add new elements for each level.

aTypeTrainer4Mac will time your performance and display your characters per minute/words per minute score. It also includes a metronome to help you set the typing rhythm. You can also set the typing priority: accuracy, quality or quantity.

Create new exercises using your own text document or email

After completing the aTypeTrainer4Mac default lesson plan, you can continue practicing with custom text content. aTypeTrainer4Mac allows you to easily import RTF files, but it can also import the content of the currently selected email in your mail application, or the text of the latest active TextEdit file.

Other customization options can be accessed through the app’s preferences: you can change the default sound settings, interface color schemes, font styles, change the rules passed to the new level in the lesson plan, adjust animation effects, etc.
