Finding your way around the BiblioteQ application proves to be quite intuitive thanks to its well-organized user interface: the top and left toolbars provide buttons for frequently used functions, while the main area displays a list of all database entries, As well as available details and associated artwork.
Note that BiblioteQ allows you to sort items into different categories: books, DVDs, journals, magazines, music CDs, photos, or video games. Additionally, BiblioteQ maintains multiple smart folders: All Entries, All Available, All Expired, or All Reserved.

First, you must connect to a SQL database or create a new database from scratch. BiblioteQ comes with input panels personalized for every type of project, helping you store vast amounts of information about every book, magazine, DVD, and more.
To reduce the time spent adding data to the database, you simply enter the ISBN code and BiblioteQ will attempt to go online and download the metadata using SRU and Z39.50 protocols.
