Customizable hotkeys can be used to directly adjust the current effect without switching to another effect. They are not active by default, but you can configure them in the application’s settings.

Conversions and Exceptions

The app doesn’t instantly switch between one effect and another. You can time your transitions so there aren’t sudden shifts.

If you don’t want an effect to activate when an app is in the foreground, you can add it as an exception. This will apply to all effects you create.

Overall, Black Light is intuitive and versatile, whether you want the more advanced Night Shift or have other plans. There’s a lot of customization available, and you should be able to tweak it until it exactly suits your needs.
