contact book is a simple address book application specifically designed to help you process and group contacts into user-definable groups.

From the Address Book’s main window, you can instantly search for contacts or display only those listed in a given group.

You can sort contacts based on their first or last name and browse the list with just a few mouse clicks. Additionally, Contacts automatically synchronizes your contact list with Apple’s Contacts or Address Book.

The interface of Contacts is similar to Apple’s Contacts, so you don’t have to spend too much time learning how to use the app. The built-in search form allows you to find the person you’re looking for quickly and easily.

When adding a new contact, you can enter various information unique to each contact. Therefore, you can insert social network information, contact photos, birthdays and anniversaries, website and home addresses, etc.

With the Remind Me search feature, you can set reminders with five different settings for everyone in your contact list.

Additionally, Contact Book allows you to color-code and name your groups based on your needs and preferences. In addition to setting the desired color for each group, you can also adjust the transparency of the color and get a unique color.

All in all, Contacts is a useful and intuitive application that is heavily inspired by the Apple Contacts that comes with your Mac.
