Anyone who is a fan of first-person horror games and co-op will be pleased with Cry of Fear. In a dark and frightening environment, unknown threats seem to exist around every corner.

Cry of Fear tells the story of a young man who finds himself trapped in a mysteriously abandoned city. He is not sure what is real and what is an illusion. As he progresses further, more mysteries rise to the surface. Many of the scenes were designed to look like something out of a movie, which only adds to the sense of expected horror. Those who have played Half Life will be interested to know that this game was originally developed as a standalone mod.

Although a single-player mode is available, up to four players can also access the same game. There are many possible endings depending on strategic choices. There are over 20 items to unlock and 24 weapons to choose from. Players have the opportunity to experience 12 unique campaigns, each with their own set of challenges.
