An interesting feature worth mentioning here is the translation layer when using other apps. Enable this option to have Linguee display word translations in other applications such as browsers or PDF document viewers.

Access the app’s menu from the upper left corner to choose a different dictionary, install an offline dictionary, choose the dictionary you want to use, offline or online, share translations to third-party apps or view history or your translations.
