Let’s say you’re a live streamer on Twitch or YouTube, hosting a gaming session or a talk show. During your live stream, you often interact with your audience, playing games or discussing various topics.

The application comes with a modern, transparent interface that, by default, consists of a 5 x 5 grid. As noted in the bottom note, you can simply copy a sound clip from your clipboard and paste it into the grid tiles by right-clicking.

First-time users won’t have a hard time, though. I added my first clip simply by right-clicking on the tile and opening its settings. I could add a name, which I chose to also display in the grid so I could find it more easily.

After that, I assigned the clip to a profile and specified the path to the audio file as well as the background image, which allowed me to distinguish it more quickly. I created a hotkey so that I could play it without opening the application.

In addition to grid customization, you can also create specific settings for individual clips placed in the grid. This is especially useful when preparing for a live performance, as you can include various sound effects that need to be louder or smaller depending on their role in the performance.

Another situation where separate settings can come in handy is when you want to specify that specific sound effects play through different audio output devices, such as external speakers, headphones, or a virtual audio interface.
