– Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard and press Restore.
– Select the .ipsw file you downloaded.
– Wait for the restore to complete and the device to restart.

Apple system
– Plug your device into your Mac.
– Navigate to your device in Finder.
-Hold down the Option or Alt key on your keyboard and press Restore.
– Select the .ipsw file you downloaded.
– Wait for the restore to complete and the device to restart.

Linux
– Install idevicerestore.
– Plug your device into your computer.
– Open a terminal and navigate to the IPSW file you downloaded, e.g. cd ~/Downloads
– To perform a full wipe recovery, enter idevicerestore -e .ipsw and press Enter.
– Wait for the restore to complete and the device to restart.
