Modular installation:

With the latest update of iCUE, we’ve changed the way iCUE is installed and updated. With iCUE’s new modular infrastructure, it will no longer consist of a single big package. Instead, users will download a very small installer that, on startup, will uninstall the existing version of iCUE and automatically download and install the necessary modules.

To address the previous experience with iCUE’s large footprint (3+ GB), we’ve simplified the experience by installing only what is needed to support your product. For example, if iCUE detects only the K100 RGB Air Wireless keyboard, the software will only download two modules: the iCUE Core and the K100 RGB Air Wireless module.

As a result, iCUE will no longer need hosted files to support products you don’t currently own, and will now take up a fraction of your hard drive space compared to previous versions.

If you add more iCUE products to your setup in the future, iCUE will automatically detect them and install the add-ons you need to fully support them. Users can also select and install specific third-party plugins from partners that share our ecosystem.

After this update, iCUE will no longer require a complete uninstall and install of the software. Instead, you’ll only be prompted to update if your modules change or you have a new iCUE-supported product.

We believe this change to iCUE will make our platform flexible and efficient as we continue to improve the functionality of the software and make your experience memorable.

– Murals now have a “roll back” option when stacking device images together

– Fixed an issue with scrolling when the pointer hovers over the bottom of the home screen
– Sensors and fan widgets no longer appear on the dashboard in random order

HID Product Improvements

– K100 AIR and K65 MINI RGB will no longer cause a crash when creating lighting effects from the library when the device is in wireless mode
– K65 MINI RGB now correctly displays the tilde (~) when pressing FN+Shift+Esc
– Solved for some keys of K65 MINI RGB, if the lock button is on, the original key output is kept and the key is disabled
– Fixed an issue that prevented iCUE from detecting Voyager laptop keyboards

– Close the wizard and restart the system for the changes to take effect.
