This zip archive contains the files required to install the chipset drivers. If installed, an update (overlay install) may fix problems, add new functionality, or extend existing functionality. Even though other operating systems may be compatible, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than those specified.

To install the software in interactive mode:

– Verify that all system requirements are met.
– Download and extract the archive.
– Run the installer.
– You will be prompted to agree to the license agreement. If you do not agree, the installer will exit.
– After successful installation, you will see a screen listing the installed Intel Chipset Device Software. You can view the installation log by clicking View log file in the lower left corner.

To install software in silent mode:

– Verify that all system requirements are met.
– Download and extract the archive.
– Run the installer to install silently: SetupChipset.exe -s
– The utility will perform the necessary updates and record the installation status in the following system registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareIntelINFInst
– If the utility is not invoked with the “-norestart” switch, the system may restart automatically if the setup is successful.
– NOTE: If prompted, the system must be restarted for all device updates to take effect.
– To determine if the installation was successful, verify the “version” value in the registry key
