Right off the bat, we should point out that this is a very minimalistic Chrome extension without a proper UI that does all its magic by running unobtrusively in the background. In short, this extension is designed to enhance security when using MEGA and make your browser more sensitive to MEGA, if you so desire.

For example, any MEGA URL is automatically “captured” by the extension, presumably also to improve overall download performance and thus reduce load times. However, how much improvement can actually be made, we cannot say.

Two installation methods

To install it, just visit its official Chrome Web Store page and click the “Add to Chrome” button. You’ll notice that it’s integrated with Chrome’s toolbar, in its typical location to the right of the address bar next to all other extensions.
