New features of Readerware 4.26:
- A new method of cataloging items has been added. You can now use the browser to save the page as an HTML file. Then drag and drop the file onto Readerware, and the project will be cataloged. Designed to be used when Readerware cannot connect to the site due to a site overload event.
- Fixed the problem of cataloging from Discogs, Readerware did not extract UPC through drag-and-drop operation.
- You can now search your database by publication date or copyright date. Using the advanced search window, you can perform a range search on any date. By default, these new searches are disabled. Select the Preferences menu item, and then select the search list to enable these searches.
- Fixed an issue when adding images using drag and drop. When dragging an image to an image placeholder, if the file path contains spaces, the drag and drop will fail.

Each category has its own launcher
After installing the application, you will find three shortcuts on the desktop, one for each category. They are accessed individually, can save some time, and will not take you through another window to navigate to each window.
This is more practical because not everyone shows the same interest in all categories. However, those who do this will be disappointed that when a collection is already active, there is no way to quickly jump to another type of collection.

The main windows of each category are only slightly different from each other. When adding products to your collection, you can specify a surprising amount of detailed information. In addition to the “Summary” and “Image” tabs, you will inevitably encounter “Edit”, which will take up most of your time.
From basic information such as name and artist to actors, if it is a video, it can be mentioned whether it is lost or not. If you are not sure about something, you can always do a quick search on the Internet through the application’s integrated engine, which will take you to some of the most common sites, where you will surely find what you need.
