Create a whitelist for software

VoodooShield is a solid application that takes a different approach to protecting your computer from viruses. The software cannot delete infected files, but it can prevent them from being opened and protect your computer from infection. The software has smart options to automatically create whitelist snapshots for all trusted programs and files.

Once your antivirus program has created a whitelist snapshot of your system, VoodooShield can block your computer’s functionality so that it doesn’t allow any other software to run. In other words, you can create a list of allowed programs and set your computer to run only specified software. However, you can choose to allow other programs through the protection wall.

User-friendly computer lock

VoodooShield is designed to always run in the background, but it will display a small shield icon on the desktop that you can easily reposition to the desired location. The shield indicates whether VoodooShield is active: red when the protection is off, blue when the protection is on.

Additionally, dragging and dropping any file onto the shield will cause the software to automatically scan the document for malware. If the software blocks a file, it is automatically uploaded to a cloud-based blacklist for detailed analysis.

Whitelist based protection

VoodooShield is designed to understand user preferences in trusting software. The learning process happens when the software displays a red background and a shutdown message. When you activate protection, the software can automatically take a snapshot of your system to determine which programs are trusted and block all others.
