New features of EagleFiler 1.9.4:
- Improved the “Import ENEX file…” command, especially for handling invalid XML generated by Evernote 10.
- If the ENEX file is invalid XML, EagleFiler will now try to skip the wrong part of the file to import as many comments as possible, instead of failing and without error.
- The invalid part of the file will be saved as a separate .enex file and imported into the Invalid Evernote Notes folder. EagleFiler will also restore its capabilities from each file and import it as an RTF file.
- If the ENEX file is valid, but the ENML of the specific annotation is invalid, it is not the failure due to an error. EagleFiler now tries to repair the XML. It saves the original XML in the Invalid Evernote Content folder, converts ENML to RTF as much as possible, and uses invalid_evernote_xml to mark the RTF record.

Import content and organize it into multiple libraries
In the EagleFiler Drop Pad window, you can create a new library or drag and drop items to upload them to the currently selected collection. The EagleFiler application can import locally stored files, but if you decide to import URLs, it can also save the entire website.
Note that EagleFiler will copy the files into its library, so you can erase the original files after the import process is complete.
You can view the items contained in the EagleFiler library in the Finder, but remember that the content should only be rearranged through the EagleFiler user interface.
Browse the library by tags or use the built-in search tool
The items contained in the EagleFiler library can be previewed immediately, especially when dealing with text fragments, images, URLs and other types of documents.
The EagleFiler utility allows you to associate tags with each entry for easy navigation, and also includes predefined smart folders. You can quickly identify read or unread items or mark certain items.
EagleFiler also comes with a simple search tool that can run queries in the item title bar. The result list can be sorted by different conditions, but there are no other filtering options.

It is worth mentioning that EagleFiler can also store text fragments that are not associated with any local files, so you can use the utility to collect notes, emails and other text fragments. The EagleFiler application allows you to export these entries to a text file.
All in all, EagleFiler allows you to better control the records associated with a project, keep related documents in the same place, import the entire website, and also provides support for organizing random annotations.
