font book is a Mac OS X application that lets you easily preview and print character maps, typebooks, and ASCII diagrams.

With FontBook you can create complete pictures of all fonts. You can browse the entire font library and print a custom font sample book, or just print samples of selected fonts.

FontBook provides you with type samples for graphic design, character maps for editing, ASCII codes for HTML development, and type books for system administrators.

By accessing the font menu, you will be able to preview all installed fonts in different sizes. You can also change the keyboard type through the keyboard menu.

Additionally, the Layout menu allows you to choose one of various layouts, such as Reference, Font Size, Font Style, ASCII Table, Overview, Long Text, Design, and more.

The mail merge feature lets you quickly print a complete folder of uninstalled fonts.

The Preferences menu provides many formatting and visual options that you can use to create printable samples and information about fonts.
