Just when you thought a mouse was a must, here comes an app that lets you do it with your keyboard.

home Enables you to navigate the application’s interface by simply typing – use the Spotlight-like search bar to filter UI elements. It even works with apps that weren’t designed with the keyboard in mind, especially native apps; support for many non-native apps is also integrated.

Filter UI elements by typing

You can bring up the search bar Cmd+Shift+Space. Then, just type the name of a particular UI element to highlight it, and press Enter to trigger the click.You can right click Shift+Enter and Cmd-click with command+enter.

If no exact match is found, or if there are multiple matches, you can use the arrow keys or hold transfer and type the label it generates.

Always-on tags and tutors

You can even disable search entirely if you use the feature a lot. In this case, all labels will be displayed for all visible UI elements when the hotkey is used.

For some items, it can be difficult to figure out what to search for to activate them.To view an element’s title, you just place the cursor over it or press the ? when it is highlighted.

Ideal for advanced users or those who cannot rely on a mouse

Homerow might not seem like the most efficient way to navigate an interface, but for users who are very good at using keyboard hotkeys, it could be invaluable. It can speed up repetitive workflows, especially once you know the names of UI elements.

Or, if you can’t use a mouse for any reason, this application gives you another way to select and click parts of the UI.

It should work with most native applications, and also supports many popular software that run on non-native code. There may be some issues with certain applications such as Firefox and Spotify, but they are disabled by default.
