The INDIGO suite of applications consists of a set of tools designed to help amateur astronomers manage imaging equipment. All of these applications include a built-in scripting utility, INDIGO script editor, can also be downloaded and purchased separately. As the name suggests, this application allows you to write, save, load and execute scripts.

The program is able to connect to local and remote INDIGO servers. Servers on the local network should be detected automatically, but you can also go to the application’s preferences to connect to remote instances. Also includes a control panel, which allows you to manage the server remotely.

The script editor provides support for line numbers and newlines, both of which can be disabled. You can also increase or decrease the text size and choose between multiple color palettes. Scripts can be saved to a file and loaded later, and you can specify whether the script should run when the agent is loaded or unloaded. Online script verification is also possible using JSLint.

From the application’s preferences, you can change logging levels, manage connections, set access tokens for remote servers, and configure serial ports for drivers that require them.
