IsMyLcdOK is a small application that does not require installation and allows you to test your LCD monitor upon startup and check for stuck or dead pixels. The menu screen displays a list of keyboard commands that will guide you through the color test, stress test, and gradient test. After viewing these screens, you will be able to see dead pixels.

This is not a dead pixel detector, but it allows the user to easily recognize them by eye. It doesn’t offer any solutions, but knowing for sure whether that dot on the screen is your imagination or not can be reassuring.

Because IsMyLcdOK is small and requires no installation, it is completely portable and can be run from a USB drive if desired.

Although IsMyLcdOK does not automatically detect dead pixels, it is a lightweight application that makes detection visually much easier.
