knock knock is a simple and very useful macOS application designed with one mission in mind: to scan and discover harmful or potentially unwanted software installed in the deepest and darkest corners of your Mac’s hard drive.

After the file has been scanned and processed, the application will automatically display the detection rate, and if known malware is detected, the item’s name and the VirusTotal button will both be displayed in red.

Of course, you can choose to use Finder to open the file with the help of the “Show” button, or by pressing the “Info” button, you can view detailed information such as hash, size, plist and other status information.
