News browser It is an RSS reader that allows you to read the latest articles published on your favorite websites in a clean environment outside of the browser.

The reader simplifies your reading by eliminating all distractions: the built-in browser only displays the content of the article. In addition, the news browser relies on Apple’s iCloud to synchronize your subscription database to all your devices.

RSS reader to help you find subscriptions and organize them into folders

In the main window of the news browser, you can easily add new subscriptions by providing an RSS link, or you can rely on the search subscription feature of the app.

The latter option is perfect if you don’t want to search for links yourself: just provide a keyword and the app will go live and display all available feeds. Remember, the news browser will only add the feed selected by the user to the database.

To help you deal with large databases, News Explorer offers you the possibility to organize subscriptions into folders. In addition, when adding a new feed, you must select an output directory.

View the article in reader view or navigate to the original web page

By default, News Explorer displays a short description for each article, which you can expand to view the entire post, in an easy-to-read format that contains only text and embedded images.

However, if you click on the title of the article, News Explorer allows you to view the original page as you did in the browser, but without leaving the application. Please note that if you have other Apple devices within Bluetooth range, such as an iPhone, you can also continue reading articles on your mobile device.

Naturally, the news browser integrates all the basic functions of an RSS reader: you can mark items as read or unread, bookmark them, share them on social media, filter items by different criteria, search for specific topics, or adjust the appearance of text.

Keep your news sources in the same place and manage them easily

The news browser provides you with the possibility to quickly create and organize news subscription databases, and you can use the OPML format to import data from other RSS readers. Similarly, if you don’t want to use iCloud synchronization, the app can also export data to OPML.
