Good luck! I’ve been looking for a good graphics app that has the same Octave functionality as Octave LE, but supports WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) and doesn’t drive me crazy trying to learn the octave. So thanks to my friend Michael J. I just downloaded and installed Octave LE on my laptop to learn it. It quickly became clear that the standard Octave software was missing several key features, and this is the result. However, something is missing: support for multiple CPU cores, mouse integration (except for the built-in one on my laptop), GUI support (though not as responsive as I’d like), and the most important of all, Sudo file system integration.

I’m currently using Octave with WYSIWYG editors like those found in the gnu Octave signals package. Working as expected, I was able to seamlessly import an existing caffeine measurement library from my Linux machine to a Windows 10 machine. Then, after running a few octave scripts, the gnu Octave signal package did a great job of converting my caffeine measurements into a WYSIWYG format that could read my desktop computer.

The gnu Octave signal package does a good job of converting the file that my desktop computer needs into the file that my GNU Octave implementation requires. So far, so good! In a couple of weeks I will be able to launch the new website and start publishing articles. In the meantime, I’m enjoying the freedom of using Octave with WYSIWYG editors like those found in the gnu Octave signals package. To your health!
