Track working hours from the menu bar

Like all menu bar apps, Pandan is fairly minimalistic. Icons show the elapsed time in the current session or the total working time for the day. If you click on it, you’ll get a more detailed breakdown listing all sessions and total time spent in front of your Mac.

You can always start a new session if you want to keep track of a specific task, but if you leave your Mac for a while, the app can automatically monitor user input and stop the current session. You can also continue the previous session if you wish.

Non-intrusive reminders

Pandan comes with an optional feature that provides “gentle” reminders at specified intervals. These can be displayed in a popup, as a notification, in the center of the screen, or just in the menu bar.

The app supports shortcuts that allow you to create and run custom scripts when notifications are displayed. Some ideas include playing custom sounds, launching web pages, locking the screen, and more. You can find some interesting examples on the developer’s webs ite.
