Parallel Toolbox A collection of minimalist utilities designed to handle the day-to-day tasks that most users need to perform on a regular basis.

The Parallels Toolbox application essentially provides a well-organized and easily accessible user interface for accessing a collection of companion tools.

Parallels Toolbox comes with an installer package that puts the application and the entire toolset in your Applications directory. Each of these tools will appear in the Parallels Toolbox main panel and you can launch them with a single mouse click.

Note that you don’t need to manage utilities only through the Parallels Toolbox interface: you can navigate to the appropriate folder and launch any of the included tools just like any other application.

However, to help you understand which tools are currently active, Parallels Toolbox will modify the color of the icons: gray for inactive and red for active. Additionally, the application’s icon will also be included in the Dock (there is no option to disable this behavior).

Handle everyday tasks without complex configuration

In the Parallels Toolbox library you can find packages for archiving and unarchiving, recording screen or audio content, capturing screenshots, setting timers, counters or alarms, converting videos to make them compatible with iPhone or non-retina iPad or downloading new Tool content for the video.

Additionally, you can block all notifications, prevent your Mac from sleeping, hide the desktop, lock the screen, or mute the microphone by activating the Do Not Disturb feature.

Parallels Toolbox offers you the possibility to handle these tasks in an intuitive way, and most tools perform tasks with little user intervention (customization options are minimized).

Handle repetitive work without wasting time or resources

On top of that, Parallels Toolbox brings a collection of gadgets focused on handling specific tasks. These tools can be managed through the Parallels Toolbox companion app, or you can launch them individually.

Some items included in the Parallels Toolbox collection have separate panels where you can quickly configure tools, and the app keeps track of favorite and active utilities to make them more accessible.

Note that Parallels Toolbox is designed to be a companion utility to other Parallels applications, but you can also get it as a standalone utility.
