Import data easily

For your convenience, Plot can import scientific data from text or binary files. Furthermore, it can extract information from MySQL databases or EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control Systems).

Last but not least, you can add data with a simple copy and paste, or drag and drop in the Plot Inspector window.

Generate plots using supported functions

Plots generated in the Plot graphics window are directly affected by adjustments you make in the Inspector window.

Here, you must choose to assign one of the functions supported by the Plot application. Note that you can view all mathematical expressions that can be used in plots by visiting the help area.
