URL shortening services not only allow you to create shorter links that are prettier and easier to share, but they also allow you to track how many times and when your links are clicked.
Short Menu is essentially a URL shortener that’s easily accessible from your menu bar. But it has a lot more going for it than just being easy to use, like a built-in analytics tracker, integration with various shortening services, customizable hotkeys, and more.
There are several ways to process links. After copying the URL to the clipboard, you can open the main window to create a shortened link and add additional parameters. The last three URLs to process are also visible here.

Alternatively, you can process clipboard links using hotkeys, right-clicking the menu bar icon, or have the application automatically process every URL copied to your clipboard.
Every link you create will be tracked. You will be able to see how many clicks it generated, when the clicks occurred, and from which region the clicks came. The data is very easy to read with the help of graphs and bar charts.
By default the shrtm.nu service is used, but you can integrate any other service you want to use. This makes the application very flexible, as it can be used as a frontend for various other shorteners.
It’s even possible to create custom domains and use them for your short links, as well as automatically add affiliate tokens to URLs when shortening them.
Short Menu offers a lot of features for a link shortener, and it’s very simple to use. The free service is very limited, at least when using a Short Menu domain. Beyond that, you’ll need a subscription, but the prices are reasonable and well worth the money.
