Power users will do anything to avoid using the mouse, but sometimes you can’t avoid clicking on something. Well, unless you have an app that lets you search for text on the screen and tap it without taking your hands off the keyboard.

super key Designed to reduce the need for a mouse by allowing you to click on any searchable text just by pressing the Enter key. What’s more, it can turn the rarely used Caps Lock into a super key and map it to various other functions.

Find and click text without a mouse

The search function allows you to press a customizable hotkey to bring up the search box. Then, just type any text that identifies what you want to click—if there are multiple matches, you can cycle through them with the arrow keys. Once you find the correct one, press Enter to click on it.

By holding down a modifier key while pressing Enter, you can trigger other types of clicks or various related actions, such as right-click, double-click, middle-click, or simply move the cursor to a specified location on the screen.

Turn Caps Lock into a useful superkey

Caps Lock isn’t very useful these days, but it’s such a convenient location on the keyboard that you might want to remap it to something that’s actually useful. As a superkey, it becomes a combination of the other four modifiers (⌃⌥⌘⇧), allowing you to create many accessible new shortcuts.

While Caps Lock is the most obvious choice, you can use another key or modifier key as a super key. You can also choose whether it should include Shift and which actions the modifier should apply to.

Other productivity-related bindings

If you’ve made Caps Lock a super key, you can remap its original function to something else. Additionally, quick presses can trigger different functions entirely, and other key combinations can be activated from the app’s preferences.
