TouchSwitcher places recently used apps closer to Touch Bar icons, meaning you can find them faster. To switch to the corresponding app, you just tap its Touch Bar icon.

You can hide the TouchSwitcher app by holding down the Touch Bar button, and you can change the default hotkey that displays the menu. For the latter, you need to use the gear icon included in the menu. The same area allows you to exit the application switcher.
