Tribler comes with a simple and minimalist user interface, even before the download is complete, you can immediately search for torrents, manage all transmissions and play streaming torrents.

The toolbar at the top has a built-in search engine that allows you to start, stop, resume and delete seeds from the list. More importantly, the useful search form allows you to filter the displayed torrents and find the download files you need.

In the left panel, you can switch from the search results view to the download list or channel list, and use the built-in video player to watch streaming media torrents.

Moreover, Tribler provides some options, you can sort the seeds according to their name, file type and file size with a few clicks of the mouse. Tribler also provides detailed information about the selected seed and helps you monitor download and upload speed, ETA value and completion percentage.

Although the built-in torrent search engine allows you to search and download torrents without visiting the web, you can still choose to add external torrent files or add magnets or direct http links to the desired torrent.

Most importantly, Tribler supports a subset of the TOR onion routing protocol. This fact allows you to protect your privacy when you download or seed seeds.

By accessing the “Settings” window, you can also customize the Tribbler configuration file, set the path to the default download location, enable series filters and limit upload and download rates.

Overall, Tribler is a simplified OS X application designed from the ground up that can be used to manage and stream multiple torrents at the same time.
