DreamPlan is a handy app that gives you a really good way to create a 3D blueprint of your design project in just a few steps.

It has a simple, full-featured interface that has several different tabs corresponding to the different operations you can perform; “Building”, “Exterior”, “Interior” and “Landscape Design”.

In the Build section, you start creating your plan. Here you can add interior and exterior walls as well as doors and windows as you see fit. In the “Interior” section, you can add and arrange various furniture, such as chairs, tables, sofas or beds. Not only that, but you can also add home appliances and electronics, lighting and plumbing fixtures, and other decorative items such as fireplaces, shutters, and mirrors.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS:

• House and floor plan: switch between 3D, 2D and drawing view modes.
• Landscaping and garden design: build a relief of open areas of landscaping.
• Interior and room design: add furniture, lamps, appliances and other decorations.
• Reconstruction, additions and redesign: create walls, multiple floors, decks and roofs.

For the Exterior section, you can add Plants (trees or flowers), Lighting, Paths, Furniture, and other Accessories. Similarly, in the Landscaping section, you can raise or lower the ground level by the desired radius and user-defined amount.

All in all, for a free CAD application, DreamPlan does a really good job of helping you visualize what your designed project will look like. It has an easy-to-use interface that both novice and advanced users can navigate and takes up relatively little space.
