Need For Speed Carbon is a game from Electronic Arts that features intense car racing and a compelling storyline. As the successor to NFS Most Wanted, it added many features to the series and also improved some aspects of the gameplay to make it more realistic.
Gameplay
The game requires a bit of your computer: RAM requirements are 512 MB. It works on all Windows PCs after Windows 7. The gaming experience is smooth, especially with later patches.
EA is offering a trial so you can get a taste of the world before purchasing the product. The campaign is an important part of the experience with lots of cutscenes and an interesting story to follow as you make your way to the top of the racing food chain.

New Features
As usual in NFS, you need to win races to get more money to unlock new cars and parts. There is a possibility of customization, especially if you win mini-challenge. However, the game features a crew system with drafters, scouts, and blockers.
Unfortunately, these new integrations in Carbon don’t work very well as they upset the balance of the system. In addition, drifting was reintroduced in this game and muscle cars could be used. Finally, online matches have been improved for all systems.
Alternatives
Need for Speed MW is one of the iconic games in the series. In 2012, EA released a new version of the game that had vastly improved graphics, making it comparable to Carbon. Most Wanted stands out for its amazing cop car chases, while Carbon has a better campaign.
The Forza Racing Series is the most serious competition in the NFS. If you prefer epic police chases and story elements, Forza is not for you. However, if you like a strong car racing element and more customization, this series will suit you in all respects.
Confident entry into the series
All in all, there is hardly anything bad to say about this Electronic Arts game. It lacks epic chase scenes for an NFS game, and the crew system is poorly integrated. Other than that, this game will make a great addition to any NFS racing collection.
