Lewis Hamilton will seek his 11th win from a 10th pole position of the season at the Bahrain GP on Sunday.

Leading first row 75 for Mercedes in F1, Hamilton starts ahead of teammate Valtteri Bottas with Max Verstappen in his usual third place for Red Bull.

In fourth place, Alex Albon coincides with the best position on the F1 grid, while Sergio Pérez starts in the top five for the second race in a row at Racing Point.

Both AlphaTauris are in the top 10 for the second time in the last three events, while Ferrari are completely outside the top 10 for the fourth time in 2020.

Drivers who start outside the top 10, starting with 11th-placed Sebastian Vettel, have the choice of tires for the first season. The top 10 started with the tires they had their best laps on in Q2, when they all picked the medium compound for a race that should require at least two pit stops for each driver.

Sunday’s race is live only on Sky Sports F1 and starts at 2:10 p.m., with extensive preparation starting at 12:30 p.m.
