Tottenham Heung-Min Son striker has returned to London and could resume training this week after completing his national service in South Korea.
The 27-year-old spent time in Seoul after completing compulsory national service in the South Korean Military Corps, where he finished among the top five performers.
He returned to London on Saturday and will not have to isolate himself unless he is positive for coronavirus, according to the Premier League and government protocols.
This means that Son is expected to return to Hotspur Way club training camp next week for solo sessions and may be free to join group training when the Premier League permits.
The coronavirus pandemic has allowed Son to fully recover from a broken arm, which seemed ready to be thrown out during the season, while giving him the opportunity to perform his national service without affecting his career .
He must have been 21 months old, but he got an exemption after being part of his national team which won the Asian Games in 2018 and, therefore, had to finish only three weeks.
