Usain Bolt says he remains in quarantine after coronavirus test – video


he Eight-time Olympic champion sprinter Usain Bolt said he isolated himself after testing positive for the Covid-19 coronavirus

. Bolt did not disclose if he received a test result and said:

“I have no symptoms so I will go into quarantine and wait for confirmation.”

Bolt recently attended his 34th birthday party, with Raheem Sterling and Chris Gayle among the guests.

The eight-time Olympic gold winner shared a video on Twitter to confirm that he had been tested for the coronavirus and showed no symptoms.

“I took the test on Saturday to get out of [Jamaica] because I have a job. I’m trying to be responsible, so I’m going to stay here for my friends, ”he said.

“Also, I don’t have any symptoms, so I’m going to quarantine myself and wait for confirmation to see what the protocol is and how I should go about quarantining myself,” he added.
