The first Redmi Note 9 Pro Max release date has been revealed. The phone was launched alongside the Redmi Note 9 Pro in India in March. The sale of the Redmi Note 9 Pro started the same month, but the sale of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max was delayed due to the national blockade in the country. Xiaomi recently started reselling smartphones in the country and announced the first sale date of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. The price of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India was revised last month to Rs. 16,499 for the storage variant 6 GB + 64 GB (an increase of Rs. 1,500), while its storage model 6 GB + 128 GB is priced at Rs. 17,999 and the 8 GB + 128 GB storage option is priced at Rs. 19,999 (an increase of 1,000 rupees). As for the specs, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max dual-SIM (Nano) runs MIUI 11, based on Android 10, and has a 6.67 inch + Full HD IPS screen + (1080 × 2400 pixels ) with an aspect ratio of 20: 9. The phone works with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G eight-core SoC, with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has 64 GB and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage options which can be extended via a microSD card (up to 512 GB) via a dedicated slot.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max's quad camera configuration includes a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. RAW photography is also supported. In addition, the phone has a 32 megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max includes a 5,020 mAh battery that supports a fast charge of 33 W (compatible charger included in the box). Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, infrared (IR), NavIC, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Finally, the phone comes with a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
