Google support for the Google Keep app Chrome and February 2021. The application will move to Google Keep on the web, from where it is always accessible.

Offline access to notes will continue to be available on the Google Keep mobile apps, but not on the computer, according to Google Support page
. Users can install a shortcut that open Keep in the Chrome browser by going to Google Keep, clicking Star and renaming the bookmark or changing the location of the bookmarks folder. After that, users should click Done.

Google encourages users to use web version the Google Keep in its place. Existing users who have installed Chrome 86 or newer browser versions can complete the migration process to Google keep in the browser easily. Keeping Chrome on the desktop will be replaced with a shortcut launcher, which will allow users to launch the Google Keep page by clicking the icon on the desktop.
Google Keep also released a new icon. It is a similar shade to the previous one, but has a full version of a bulb. The icon’s dog eared corner has been moved from the lower right corner to the upper right corner. The new icon has been rolled out for the web, but is not yet visible for mobile apps.
