Bloodborne is capped at 30 fps on PS5, Sekiro and Dark Souls 3 get performance boost


the PS4 Exclusive Title Bloodborne, it will not run at 60 frames per second per second in Playstation 5.

That’s according to modder Lance McDonald, who posted on Twitter than the trippy horror RPG by From Software it is still locked at 30 fps as it was in PS4 thanks to the backward compatibility of PS5 .

Meanwhile, several other From Software titles saw an improvement in the performance of Sony’s new machine.

they run towards 60 fps on PS5, an improvement over the previous generation of consoles. On the standard PS4, these titles were locked at 30 fps and the more powerful PS4 Pro played them at unlimited frame rates.

McDonald’s also says Dark Souls 3 is still locked at 30 fps on Xbox Series X, too.

One of the launch titles for the upcoming PlayStation 5 is a remake of the 2009 RPG From Software Demon’s Souls, made by Bluepoint, which features a host of technical and design changes. The title lets you choose between 4K resolution or a high frame rate mode meant to make the game as smooth as possible.

From Software is currently working on a new open world RPG called Elden Ring. The game was revealed at E3 2019, but we’ve heard little about the project since. However, we do know that Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin laid the foundations for the game’s mythology.
