Turkish exports to OIC countries are reduced


BAKU / Trend / – In January-March 2020, Turkish exports to the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) decreased by 3.5% compared to the same period in 2019, exceeding 11,401,099 thousand.

This has been reported Trend Monday at the Turkish Ministry of Commerce.

Exports to OIC countries in January-March accounted for 26.7% of Turkey's total exports for the same period in 2020.

In March 2020, Turkish exports to OIC countries decreased by 22.3% compared to March 2019, reaching $ 3,484,916.

During this period, exports to OIC countries accounted for 26% of Turkey's total exports for the same period in 2019.

According to the agency, Turkish imports from OIC countries in January-March 2020 increased by 6.3% compared to the same period in 2019, reaching $ 699,93665,000.

Imports from OIC countries during this period accounted for 12.6% of total imports from Turkey in January-March 2020.

Turkish imports from OIC countries in March 2020 decreased by 17.6% compared to March 2019, reaching 1880994 thousand dollars.

In March 2020, this figure represented 10% of Turkey's total imports.

It should be noted that Turkey's foreign trade turnover in March 2020 amounted to 32,235 million dollars.

Turkish exports during this period decreased 17.8% from March 2019 to $ 13,422 million.

Turkish imports in March 2020 increased by 3.1% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 18.813 billion dollars.

In January-March 2020, Turkey's trade amounted to $ 98,404 billion.

At the end of this period, Turkey's exports decreased by 4% compared to the same period in 2019, reaching $ 42.749 million.

In January-March 2020, Turkish imports increased 10.3% from the same period in 2019, reaching $ 55.655 million.

Note that Turkey's foreign trade turnover in 2019 amounted to $ 374.236 billion.
