Just take a look at the main building block of an application – its tasks. You immediately understand what new applications look like. When you open a task, it smoothly turns into a blank white sheet of paper, ready for your thoughts. You can add additional details (tags, checklist, start date, deadline) if you like, but these fields are neatly tucked away in the corner until you need them. There is nothing distracting here, just you and your thoughts.

To deliver on its promises, a quick search function must be fast. It’s built so that the moment you press a key, the results are displayed instantly. As you continue to type, search results update incredibly quickly, narrowing your search on the fly.

Search by tags in the application
Need to find all of your “errands” or anything you need to discuss with “Kate”? A quick search will help you – it automatically detects when you enter a tag and allows you to open an application-wide filter in milliseconds.

Just swipe
The Jump Start pop-up helps you make quick decisions on a schedule by collecting all your responses in one convenient place. With just a swipe, you can add to-do’s to Today or Tonight, set a reminder time, schedule something for a later date, or defer to-do’s sometime.

Slim Mode
Introducing Slim Mode! Minimize the sidebar by sliding two fingers across the screen to stay focused and focus on the task at hand. It’s also great when you’re working in split screen mode or just need more screen space.

Multiple windows
Things for macOS provides an amazingly flexible working environment on macOS. Open multiple projects in separate panels and drag and drop tasks back and forth between them to easily organize them.
