Tesla acquires California authorities; Restart operations without authorization

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the company is starting manufacturing operations, although it does not have the necessary permits from local health authorities in Fremont, Alameda County in California. A few days ago, the governor of California asked to include auto manufacturing in essential services, paving the way for a new Tesla operation. But Alameda's local health authorities have always denied permits for the same. According to Tesla, at least three neighboring counties in the same situation have already restarted their economies.

A lawsuit has been filed against Alameda County for rejecting the restart license.

Musk has gone to Twitter to say that it is a risk he is taking and ready to be the first to be arrested for breaking the law. He said: "Tesla is restarting production today against Alameda County rules. I will be online with everyone. If anyone is arrested, I ask that it be just me . " He said that despite California approval, an unelected county official had illegally canceled the instructions. "All other auto companies in the United States are allowed to take over. Only Tesla has been singled out. It's super complicated!", He added.

A few days ago, Musk had threatened to move operations and the headquarters of the State of California because of the problem. He said the company plans to move to Texas or Nevada and has also filed a lawsuit against Alameda County. Tesla is currently the only automaker that still has manufacturing operations in California, where it employs 20,000 people. The company has already shared a return-to-work manual with local county officials which has yet to receive approval.
