Bat Faye is a third-party solution that gives you complete control over how your device charges, making it easy to optimize battery life even with a hectic schedule. By default, it only allows your device to charge up to a preset limit, and there is an option to charge it up to 100% with one click.

The app also provides detailed battery information in the menu bar, and it can automatically disable charging if the battery exceeds a certain temperature. The app can also attempt to discharge if charging exceeds the limit.

BatFi has an unobtrusive design and the menu bar icons can be customized to your liking. Once everything is set up, you won’t need to revisit the app except to charge your device to 100% when necessary.
