Simple GUI and even simpler options

Using MBOX 2 PST is not complicated at all, as it has a single-window interface with all available options and no other menus except the classic File and Help menus.

The instructions in the GUI make everything very intuitive. First, you have to import the MBOX file you want to convert by selecting the folder where the data is located. There is no option to import a single MBOX file as input, but this should not be a problem since MBOX 2 PST can look for compatible MBOX files in the source folder and its subfolders. In other words, recursive search can be used and you can preserve the original folder structure during the conversion process.

Export to Outlook or existing PST file

The next step is to choose a destination. There are two options available at this point: Default Outlook storage or an existing or new PST file. You can select the name of the destination folder or browse for the PST file to replace. Also, if the output is password protected, you will be prompted for the password.
