INDIGO Control Panel is a client application for INDIGO or INDI Server. It is part of a software suite designed around the INDIGO framework to help amateur astronomers and astrophotographers access and control a wide range of professional equipment through an intuitive user interface.

This control panel is primarily used with CloudMakers’ own INDIGO server, and has the added benefit of allowing you to connect to remote servers, whereas the built-in control panel for INDIGO servers is limited to local servers.

When the app starts for the first time, it should automatically detect any local INDIGO servers. If you want to add a remote server, you need to go to the app’s preferences. From here, you can also configure serial ports for devices that require them.

All available devices are listed in the left panel. A green light indicates that the device is connected, while a gray light indicates that it is disconnected. You can view and modify device properties in the right panel. The logs are visible at the bottom of the UI, and you can mute notifications at any time, as well as change the log level.
