i ninja Provides quick access to a range of networking tools that can be used to test IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity for various types of services or devices. The application can be used as a terminal emulator, serial monitor or network sniffer.

Out-of-the-box network analysis tools

In the main IO Ninja window you can activate a drop down menu with all supported clients (TCP connection sockets, SSH channels, UPD sockets, serial and file streams), servers (TCP listener sockets interface or proxy) and monitoring tools that can be used to test your connectivity (network sniffer, TCP flow monitor, UDP flow monitor).

Of course, it’s up to you to configure each tool: IO Ninja will log all activity, you can save the entire session or just the log file. The utility also offers you the possibility to export only the data selected by the user to a binary file for reference.

Test IPv6 connectivity for various applications or devices

IO Ninja is capable of using both IPv4 and IPv6 standards, can use any Unicode encoding to display results, and also comes with an IDE that enables users with programming skills to customize the application’s functionality to better suit their needs.

Since IO Ninja also emulates a terminal, in its interface you can easily switch between console and log views and extract the information you are interested in. It’s worth mentioning that IO Ninja allows you to chain sessions together and pass data from one session to another.

IO Ninja doesn’t come with extensive documentation, but you can learn more about the Jancy scripting language, which can be used to program applications to handle custom tasks.
