When reading a book on your Kindle device, you can highlight sections and even add notes, which is a great way to browse the material and point out what you find interesting.

club is a small but efficient utility that connects to your Kindle or Amazon account and extracts these notes and highlights. You can browse the database on your Mac computer or send everything to your Evernote account.

Klib immediately prompts you with ways to import your data: You can connect your Kindle device to your Mac via USB, or authorize the app to take control of your Amazon account and sync data wirelessly.

For the latter option, you will also need to subscribe to the “Klib Extensions” which handle the Amazon import process. The data will be displayed in the application’s main window, and you can use the built-in search tool to find specific passages.

Klib groups books by “read” or “read” so you can quickly see which book is currently being taught. Additionally, you can hide the sidebar, which means the entire window is reserved for highlighting and annotation.

The best part is that Klib works with the Kindle for Mac app and opens the corresponding book exactly where you highlighted or added annotation, which is very useful if you want to read the entire section again. Klib also allows you to edit almost anything.

Klib aims to provide a simple solution for working with your Kindle highlights or notes: you can view the content, search for specific entries, jump to the exact location in the book, and more in the Kindle for Mac app.

The data retrieved by the Klib application can be backed up to a .db file, or you can choose to have everything sent to your Evernote account by granting the application control over both accounts.
