You can do a lot with Apple Photos, but it has its limitations. Efficiently managing large photo albums isn’t its strong suit, as its feature set is rather limited.

The application can use EXIF ​​data and your own input to rename files to make them easier to find and organize. For example, you can rename the image using its creation date, camera details, dimensions, or extension.

Any number of images can be processed, and you can even add counters or replace specific text strings.

Whether you want to add or change location information, Photos Workbench makes it easy to accomplish both tasks. You set the location of your photo by simply dropping it at a specific location on the map, and they’ll move it as needed.

Existing locations can be changed, or you can even use GPX track files and have the application automatically geolocate the image based on timestamps.

Photos Workbench can be considered an upgraded version of Apple Photos, offering more features without becoming too cluttered. It’s easy to use and contains enough tools for most users to manage their photo albums.
