My Point Light S is a versatile macOS application designed to help you easily detect mouse cursors on high-resolution screens.

The myPoint Light S app has been developed to provide a simple and efficient solution to some of the problems that users of high resolution monitors face every day.

Basically, myPoint Light S can cover your mouse pointer in 3 different ways: with crosshairs, locators or a halo. Additionally, each module can be toggled on/off from a convenient menu bar panel where you can also access general preferences.

Additionally, the crosshairs display two distinguishable but unobtrusive lines at the pointer location. You can change its transparency, center and mouse offset, color, gauge, and even configure a global hotkey to toggle it.

Also, the second module, the mouse locator, comes in two flavors: momentary and permanent. The first shows visuals for a short period of time with an animated ring, and the second shows a static ring. As with the crosshair, you can change the size, aspect ratio, and also change the color and behavior.

As for the halo module, it consists of a symmetrical image displayed at the position of the mouse cursor. Unlike locators that only show circles with outer and inner colors, halos can be any circular pattern with a nice design, or an invisible inset that doesn’t make too much of an impact.

Another advantage of using myPoint Light S is that each type of pointer can be activated and deactivated in several ways. For example, through the global hotkeys we mentioned, or through mouse movements and gestures. What’s more, the pointer can be deactivated at the end of the animation.
