This means that this browser, however extremely close to Firefox, does not have all the features that Firefox has. A few, carefully selected features have been disabled that are not requested and do not interfere with the way websites are displayed or function; all to maximize the speed and efficiency of the browser. Implementation notes:

• CORS support has been updated to current specifications. Most importantly, Pale Moon now accepts wildcards (“*”) for the Access-Control-Expose-Headers, Access-Control-Allow-Headers, and Access-Control-Allow-Method CORS statements. Note that wildcards are ignored (according to the specification) when sending the credentials.
• Pale Moon will no longer trigger the keypress events in the content when the key pressed is a non-printable key. This is in response to issues where webmasters use rudimentary and naive input-limiting scripts in onkeypress handlers that don’t take into account edit keys or navigation keys, causing problems for users trying to enter data into forms (and e.g. discovering that they could no longer use backspace, cursor keys or tab). This adjusts our behavior with other browsers for web compatibility, although it should be considered a website bug that expects not all keystrokes to be caught in keystroke events.
