Organize your feed effortlessly

The app groups all your feeds under specific categories, making it easier for you to organize and read new content. It is compatible with various protocols, namely RSS 2.0 and 2.0.1, RSS 0.91 / 0.92 / 0.93 / 1.0, ATOM 1.0, and supports feeds that require authentication.

Adding a new feed to the list takes just a few clicks: you have to select the desired category, feed type and configure some options related to automatic updates and encoding mode. Alternatively, you can import feeds from OPML files.

Easy control of internal web browser and mouse gestures

Its main window contains information about the last 30 records, showing their title, author name, and creation date. Clicking on an item displays its contents, which are displayed in the lower pane.

Portable RSS Guard features on-screen notifications, proxy support and a built-in web browser that enables you to visit the pages indicated by the feed. Alternatively, you can use a user-defined external web browser to open the link.

For your convenience, it integrates mouse gestures, so you can navigate to the previous or next web page simply by dragging the mouse. Additionally, it can be configured to automatically update the feed every few minutes.
