Tab Notes is a minimalistic note-taking app that helps you improve your workflow: all your notes can be managed from the status bar and you can fold them to the edge of the screen for more space.

To help you get started, Tab Notes integrates informative messages and guides you through video tutorials that describe basic usage techniques. When you create a new note, the panel is placed on top of all windows, and a critter is automatically assigned (it can easily be replaced by another figurine, pin, or label icon).

Tab Notes lets you move your notes around, or you can fold them to the edge of the screen: just drag the panel near the edge and the Tab Notes app does the rest.

To help you differentiate between different notes, tag notes allow you to assign specific critters or colored pins to each note, and you can change the note’s background color. Additionally, Tab Notes comes with a companion app that lets you quickly create your own note panel themes.

All in all, you are not limited by built-in designs: you can easily integrate new designs that better suit your needs. Finally, on the developer’s website, you can find themes that have been made, including some created by other users.
