Nokia 3.1 Plus started receiving the Android 10 update and security patch for April 2020 in India on May 13. The update takes place in waves, with only 10% of users receiving it today. Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Nepal and Indonesia, to name a few, are the 38 countries with India that get the Android 10 update in the first wave. According to the article, the goal is to reach 50% by May 16 and 100% rollout of the Android 10 update by May 18.

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Cambodia, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, Georgia, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Lebanon, Libya. Luxembourg, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
The community forum also said details of the countries that will receive the Android 10 update in the second wave will soon be shared. All Nokia 3.1 Plus users in the mentioned countries will receive the Android 10 update before May 18.

The Nokia 3.1 Plus community forum did not include the change log for the update. However, users on Twitter aware Screenshots showing the firmware version of the Android 10 update as V3.15H, which is 1.24 GB. The update includes the Android security patch from April 2020, as well as Android 10 features such as dark mode, smart response, gesture navigation and additional privacy and location controls.
Users will receive an automatic notification when the OTA update is ready on their Nokia 3.1 Plus phone. They can also check the update manually by going to Configurations > On the phone > System updates.
The Nokia 3.1 Plus which was launched in India in October 2018 with Android 8 Oreo ready to use. The phone started receiving the Android 9 Pie update in February 2019.
The phone runs on MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with 3 GB of RAM. The dual rear camera configuration includes a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel camera for selfies.
